Lift-Ware™ is a data management software solution that operates with a Zone 1 rugged tablet. The system is a rigging loft management tool designed to reduce the amount of time spent tracking, recording and managing loose and fixed lifting equipment and getting away from conventional T-cards, spreadsheets and manual systems.

The data is provided via a management portal system to show a usage overview and enable data trends to be identified both on a specific asset and across all the assets. This will allow customers to reduce the overall inventory of lifting equipment.

    Lift-Ware™ provides the data sets to understand equipment usage and availability and therefore allow the customer to optimise stock levels on each asset and across the asset base.
  2. Reduction in annual inspection costs

    By using Lift-Ware™’s facility to search for booked out items by area and by general better control we estimate that the time spent on site recertifying/inspecting equipment can be reduced.

    Lift-Ware™ can be used to locate all equipment so that the inspection teams do not have to waste time trying to locate either equipment or the certificates. This will also allow the crew to prepare more efficiently prior to the 3rd party inspection intervals taking place.
  3. Reduction in defective equipment

    A substantial amount of loose lifting equipment can be deemed to be defective due to a variety of reasons such as being left in the elements where items corrode. Lift-Ware™ highlights when equipment is overdue and allows it to be taken back into the appropriate store area to prevent defects.

    In addition, there is the potential for defective or non-certified equipment being used with the associated risks. Lift-Ware™ prevents the use of any equipment identified as defective or without a current certificate, thereby eliminating this issue.

    Personnel spend a substantial amount of time trying to locate equipment that has been booked out with minimal and often unclear information. The use of Lift-Ware™ ensures the location of each item of equipment is clearly identified and therefore reduce the amount of time wasted by personnel.
